A veteran cybersecurity executive, Ameya previously served as Director of Engineering at Symantec, where he led the development of advanced malware prevention technologies, including behavioral and reputation-based threat detection.

Under Ameya’s leadership, Cequence has been recognized as a Deloitte Fast 500 company, an Inc. Best Workplace, and a leader in GigaOm’s API Security Radar. He has driven the company’s global expansion, built high-performing teams across five countries, and personally secured flagship deals with enterprises like Saudi Aramco and JD Sports.

Ameya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai’s Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE).

Shreyans Mehta is an innovator in network security and holds several patents in the field. Before co-founding Cequence Security, he was Architect and Technical Director at Symantec, where he led the development of one of the most advanced network security platforms and intrusion prevention technologies based on real-time packet inspection and cloud-based big data analytics. It’s responsible for detecting more than half of the billions of threats that Symantec identifies every year. Shreyans has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Wei was the VP of Finance at Ordr, an IoT security company, where she closed the Series B and Series C financing. In addition to her responsibilities in Finance and Accounting, Wei also oversaw the Legal, HR and Sales Operations functions. Prior to Ordr, Wei was Worldwide Head of Finance for Versa Networks, an innovative SD-WAN and SASE provider. Previously, Wei was the Director of Finance and Accounting at Cohesity, Inc, where she successfully built the finance and accounting team, and contributed to the effort that propelled Cohesity to its unicorn valuation. Wei started her career with Hewlett Packard and has held financial leadership roles with Juniper Networks and Perkin Elmer.

Randolph Barr is a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer with over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, IT, and risk management. He has led the development and expansion of security programs across various industries, establishing foundational frameworks that not only address immediate threats but also scale with business growth. Randolph’s expertise has enabled organizations to achieve recognized security certifications and third-party attestations, ensuring security governance and compliance. Committed to fostering a collaborative environment within the security community, he focuses on sharing and learning from experiences to strengthen collective defenses against bad actors. Equally, Randolph emphasizes building transparency within security programs to enhance trust and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding customer interests. His strategic initiatives in offensive security and risk management have significantly reinforced security resilience. Randolph holds a CISSP certification, dual bachelor’s degrees in computer science and business administration, and has completed advanced studies in artificial intelligence (AI) at UC Berkeley.

Gus Siefker, at the helm of Cequence's Americas and Asia Pacific regions, stands as a seasoned sales leader boasting over 25 years of expertise in Enterprise sales. His track record shines with the adept establishment of robust Go-To-Market (GTM) teams for SaaS-based startups. Renowned for infusing vigor and enthusiasm, Gus diligently ensures the delivery of top-notch results, catering to the needs of both customers and his teams.

Mohammad Ismail is the Vice President of Sales for EMEA at Cequence Security. With extensive cybersecurity sales experience, particularly in the Identity and Access Management space, Mohammad previously served as the VP of Sales for META at Delinea, where he led regional sales efforts for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Based in Dubai, he oversees sales in the EMEA region and collaborates closely with the UK- and Germany-based teams. Mohammad holds both a BS and MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

John brings extensive technology marketing and product development experience to the table, with over a decade of experience in enterprise and consumer cybersecurity. Most recently at Banyan Security, where he served as Vice President of Product Marketing, John has also held significant leadership roles at RiskSense, Enlighted, Niara, Good Technology, and AppCentral (all of which were acquired). Prior, he held senior Marketing and Product positions at McAfee’s (Intel) Data Protection and Mobile business units, PGP, FileMaker, Ventro, Xerox, and co-founded Verano, an enterprise content management startup. He also spent 11 years at Apple, playing key roles in the development of numerous award-winning Input Device, Imaging, PowerBook, and Internet products.

Arun Gowda is the VP of Business Development at Cequence Security and leads all partnering activities for Cequence. Arun has held leadership positions at both startups and large companies and has an extensive background in cybersecurity and strategic partnerships. Arun’s experience includes Vormetric (Thales), Check Point Software, LogLogic (Tibco), and Mesosphere (Nutanix).

Hari Nair leads product management at Cequence Security, working closely with prospects, customers, and internal users to define the product strategy and roadmap that keeps the Cequence products at the cutting edge of API, bot, and AI security. Before joining Cequence, Hari led IoT security at Aeris, managed Cloud Security at Open Raven, and drove Machine Identity at Venafi. He holds degrees in Engineering from Trivandrum, Management Science from Stanford, and is CISO-certified by Carnegie Mellon.

A Founding Engineer at Cequence Security, Shailesh Mishra presently serves as its Customer Success Leader, where he holds the responsibility of ensuring successful Proof of Value (POV) engagements, as well as optimal customer satisfaction across their entire engagement with the company's products and services. With nearly two decades of industry experience and a strong engineering background, Shailesh has successfully led teams in the design and delivery of numerous security software products, focusing on technologies such as antivirus, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and encryption. Prior to his tenure at Cequence Security, Shailesh held the position of Principal Engineer at Symantec Corporation. He holds a master's degree in Computer Science from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune, India.

Anil Pochiraju is the Vice President of Customer Engineering at Cequence Security, leading the teams developing seamless third-party integrations, as well as providing scalable and robust architectures that maximize the value of the Cequence platform for our customers through optimal deployment and utilization. With over 25 years of experience spanning startups and public companies, Anil has established himself as a leader in launching innovative products and expanding market presence. Before Cequence, Anil held leadership roles in systems engineering and solutions architecture at F5. Prior to F5, he held senior engineering roles at Silicon Valley companies such as Swan Labs (acquired by F5), Spirent, Caw Networks (acquired by Spirent) and Nexsi Systems. His career encompasses extensive work in networks, network and application security, and enterprise architecture across diverse industry verticals.

Chandra brings a remarkable track record — from building Internet Explorer and the .NET Framework at Microsoft early in his career, to leading engineering teams at Palo Alto Networks, Shape Security, Didi Chuxing, and Opsera across API Security, DLP, UEBA, Cloud Workload Security, and Application Security.

He’s been a founding member or founder in 10 startups and 0→1 products, with one IPO and seven acquisitions under his belt. An enterprise AI transformation leader excited to work at the intersection of Agent Governance Gateway and the platformization of API and AI security.
